MINORI
Minori is an enchanting balneary town with little pink houses overlooking the small beach, that offers to any visitor a splendid seascape.
MAIORI
Maiori presents itself to visitors’ eyes with a splendid long beach and a wonderful seaside street and is today one of better-equipped tourist and bathing centres in this zone. The ruins of castles and towers evoke the middle age splendour of Maiori, when it was surrounded by ramparts and fortifications. The church of Santa Maria a Mare overlooks the town, in which they are used to celebrate every 15th August an important event dated on 1204, when some seamen saved a statue of the Madonna that a ship coming from Constantinople had to throw into the sea.
