It is located on the opposite side of the Amalfitan Coast in front of the Golf of Salerno. As in a wonderful dream, Vietri seems to float between the sky and the earth with the majolica domes of its little churches and the houses with traditional baked clay roof tiles.

Vietri is famous all over the world thanks to the production of traditional ceramics since the middle age. In the past centuries the artists have created wonderful master pieces. The visitors can admire some of them at the Ceramics Museum of Vietri.
