It 'surely the most important center of the island, accessible from the dock of Marina Grande; the fulcrum is the famous "Piazzetta" characterized by homes with terraces and pergolas, outdoor seating area and the tourist center and worldly.

One of the finest examples of Capri is the monumental complex of the "Certosa di San Giacomo", built in 1300 overlooking the panorama of the Faraglioni.

Not far from the  Certosa are the "Gardens of Augustus," from which you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Faraglioni and Marina Piccola, reachable from"Via Krupp".

On the northeastern is located "Villa Jovis", Roman remains on the island, built on sheer cliff 330 meters, the so-called "jump of Tiberius" from which it is said that the Emperor had to throw his victims.
