ON FOOT OR BY BICYCLE
Ischia is an island quite extensive and it is recommended to walk only in urban centers or taking a leisurely walk along the various ecological trails.
It 'not advisable to use a bicycle if not for local moves since during the tourist season the traffic is considerable.

BY CAR
It is always possible to use your car (there is a ban on the movement and unloading bells for cars and drivers residing in Campania Region), we recommend to pay attention to the numerous bans parking located in urban centers where it is parked in the parking public or for a fee. It 'also granted the park by showing a pre-paid ticket in areas well defined street.
And of course is possible to rent cars, mopeds or bicycles at the many car rental services present in all municipalities.

BY TAXI
The public transport, taxis and minicrotaxi,  is rather efficient, (the cost of travel MUST be checked regularly by a meter).

PUBLIC BUS SERVICE
connecting the various centers of the island very well through frequent journeys, most of which have their terminus in the immediate vicinity of the port town of Ischia.
The cost for a single trip for non-residents (valid 90 minutes) is 1.50 Euros, but you can buy tickets wider validity at very attractive prices.
Tickets are available from many companies (mainly kiosks, bars, travel agencies and tobacconists).
