How to get Salerno and Cilento

For those who arrive at airport Naples  Capodichino airport can reach Salerno and Cilento taking the train or the subway to the sea (Metrò del Mare).
From Naples Capodichino airport there is a bus service called "Alibus" that connects every 30 minutes from the airport to “Piazza Garibaldi” Train Station, where you can take the train to Salerno, or to the maritime station of Piazza Municipio, to get the Metro del Mare.
The service Metrò del Mare is running only during the summer!

By Train
To go to Salerno by train, the most convenient solution is to arrive at the station of Salerno.
From here you can catch connections with the stations of Agropoli, Vallo della Lucania, Ascea, Pisciotta and Sapri.

By Car
From North: A1 Napoli - Salerno Salerno or Vietri sul Mare or highway A30 Caserta - Rome output Fratte / Salerno center
From South: Motorway A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria and exit Fratte / Salerno center

By Boat
To reach Salerno or Cilento by sea has been established the Metro del Mare (activated only during the summer).
It is a Hydrofoil service that connect the main port of Naples (Molo Beverello) with Salerno town
