SORRENTO-POSITANO-AMALFI-RAVELLO - Minibus !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pick up from your hotel at 06.00 a.m. and departure by ferryboat to Naples or Pozzuoli at 06.40 a.m. From Naples we take the highway to Castellamare and then the panoramic road to Sorrento where we will do a sightseeing tour and stay for app. 40 minutes. We continue our tour along the famous coastal road to Amalfi and have a stop of app. 30 minutes in the romantic resort of Positano. On our way we pass the Emerald Grotto, which may be visited if requested, now there will be time enough to take some pictures at beautiful viewpoints. In Amalfi we will have lunch break, visit the centre and the famous dome. We then leave the coast and drive up to Ravello. Here we will visit the gardens at Villa Rufolo which inspired Richard Wagner to complete his Parsifal and which are the site of famous international concerts today. From the gardens you can enjoy one of the most charming views of the Gulf of Salerno. Return across the Lattari mountains and on the highway back to Naples. Embarkation to Ischia. Return to your hotel round 06.30 p.m.

POMPEII - VESUVIUS - Minibus
Pick up from your hotel at 06.00 a.m. and departure by ferry-boat at 06.40 a.m.. You’ll take the highway to Pompeii, where a guided tour of app. 2 1/2 hours will take you through this unique excavation of the Roman town, which together with Herculaneum was buried by lava during the eruption of the Vesuvius in 79 A.D. After lunch break you will be taken up to Vesuvius, from the end of which a foot path leads up to the crater. Time to walk to the top and see the crater. Return to Naples and then to Ischia. Back to your hotel app. 06.30 p.m.

CAPRI
Departure by ship from the harbours Forio, Lacco Ameno, Casamicciola, Ischia Porto and arrival in Capri after app. 1,30 hour. A minibus will first take you to Anacapri, the higher of the island’s two municipalities. After lunch break a minibus will take you to the centre of Capri where you will visit the beautiful Augustus Gardens, from this spot you can enjoy the famous view of the Faraglioni Rocks. (At this time of the tour you can visit the Blue Grotto, if requested). Return to the Harbour of Capri Marina Grande by minibus and then at 04.00 p.m. departure to Ischia.

FISHING BOAT TRIP
Pick up from your hotel at 09.30 a.m. and transfer to the departure place. Enjoy a beautiful day out on the sea on board of a fishing boat (it can carry app. 20 persons). Boat trip around the island of Ischia with stops in the most enchanting bays, as San Montano, Citara, Sorgeto, San Pancrazio and Cartaromana. Time for swimming. Lunch (fish specialities and salad) will be taken in a little marine restaurant which is reachable only by sea and set in a beautiful landscape. Return to the hotel at app. 05.30 p.m.

LET’S GO FISHING WITH THE FISHERMEN
Haul in the nets with the fishermen surrounded by the magical morning atmosphere and by the warm sunrise colours of the sea.
Pick up from your hotel at app. 06.00 a.m.
After having hauled in the nets and arranged the fish (approx. 3 hours), you will sail eastwards to one of the island’s wild areas. A path will lead you from the small landing spot to a tiny house inhabited by farmers and surrounded by vineyards where you will prepare and eat the fish you have caught, accompanied by fresh garden salad and delicious local white wine. In the early afternoon return to your hotel.

ISLAND PROCIDA - Half day
Departure from the various harbours to Procida; in the early afternoon tour around this interesting island by boat. 2 hours free time to stroll through the streets of Procida or to visit the beautiful Abbey of the Archangel St. Michael. Return to Ischia in the early evening.

WALKING TOUR CAMPAGNANO - PIANO LIGUORI - TORRI
Pick up from your hotel at round 09.00 a.m. by coach towards Campagnano - in the municipality of Ischia Porto - a small hill village, from where our picturesque walk starts, via vineyards to Piano Liguori, at around 350 m. above sea-level. A breathtaking view embraces the whole bay of Naples. Our walk goes on to the slopes of the Mount Vezzi, where a handful of local farming families still live. On Maria and Giuseppe’s beautiful terrace a picnic lunch will be served, composed by various cold meats, cheese, home-baked bread, “Cafona” salad and plenty of local wine !!! After about a 2 hour lunch break our walk continues through the chestnut wood back down to Campagnano for the trip back to your hotel, scheduled at round 03.30 p.m.

WALKING TOUR NITRODI-BUONOPANE-FIAIANO-CASTIGLIONE
Pick up from your hotel at round 09.30 a.m. Drive to “Fondo d’Oglio”, where we will begin our walk through the crater of the same name and the wonderful Bosco della Maddalena (Wood of Maddalena) up to the”Cretaio”: we will enjoy a breathtaking view on Casamicciola and Lacco Ameno!!! Our walk goes on for about 45 minutes towards the Fonte di Buceto (Spring of Buceto) through an absolutely beautiful chestnut wood. The little village of Buonopane lies at our feet, while the islands of Vivara and Procida - not to mention the historic Aragonese Castle - lie on the east side. On the south side we can enjoy the wonderful view of the tower of S. Angelo as well as the island of Capri. Our walk continues up to the Fonte di Nitrodi (Spring of Nitrodi), where we will stop for 2 hours, to picnic with garlic bread, maccheroni alla “paesana” and “cafona” salad, to be washed down with good local wine. After lunch the miraculous Nitrodi Spa water is put to test and if we are not lucky enough to come back years younger, at least we will have a nice day; anyway the Nitrodi water will be beneficial for our skin several days or at least until our next shower!!! Back at your hotel round 04.00 p.m.

WALKING TOUR MONTE EPOMEO
Pick up from your hotel at round 09.30 a.m. and drive towards Cretaio, where this pleasant walk begins crossing Buceto (water spring). Here we will have our “picnic” with Bruschetta (a particular kind of bread with tomatoes), Salad, and Spaghetti served with white wine. After lunch your walk will go up to the top of the Monte Epomeo which offers a really unforgettable view all around. Return through Falanga’s wood and “Santa Maria al Monte” to Forio and transfer to your hotel in the afternoon.

ONE DAY BOAT CRUISE AMALFI - POSITANO
Departure in the morning by ship from Forio, Lacco Ameno, Casamicciola or Ischia Porto. The boat goes towards Capri and then to the little islands “Li Galli”. After time for swimming the tour continues to Amalfi where you’ll have 2 hours free time and then to Positano where you have other 2 hours free time for shopping.
In the afternoon the tour continues towards Punta Campanella, Sorrento, Procida and back to Ischia, where we will arrive at appr. 06.30 p.m.

BOAT-TOUR AROUND THE ISLAND - afternoon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Departure from the various ports in the early afternoon. This relaxing boat-trip all around Ischia (about 3 1/2 hours) gives you the opportunity to see the villages of Forio, Lacco Ameno, Casamicciola and Ischia, as well as the impressing coast of Barano from the sea. With 1 hour stop in St. Angelo, the romantic fishermen’s village in the south of the island. Return to the various ports at about 06.30 p.m.

AN AFTERNOON AT THE “LA MORTELLA” GARDENS
Spend a special afternoon at the gardens of Sir William Walton!
Pick up from your hotel at approx 02.30 p.m. Free time to stroll around this marvellous place with over 500 different exotic plants, wrested from a gigantic stone quarry of volcanic origin and designed by the eminent landscape architect Russell Page. Discover the museum dedicated to the life of Sir William Walton and the tea house. Let yourselves enchant by the Crocodiles’ cascade, the Birds house, the Thai Sala and the glorious view over Forio. At 05.00 o’clock a lovely concert is held in the museum of the garden (April-June and September-October). Departure from the gardens at 07.00 p.m.

WINE- TASTING AT PIETRATORCIA
Ischia is famous for its local wine! Visit one of the best wine-cellars of the island, “Pietratorcia”, where precious D.O.C. wines are produced resuming the old traditions of our peasants, and its vineyards, set in panoramic terraces over Forio. Below a pergola of vines you will taste three of the delicious wines, but also a choice of locally produced food: cheese, ham, bread and tomatoes, olives...
