Christmas Food + Fun: tastings in the street, magic, music and comedy for Christmas in Forio
A big, indeed great party along the whole Forio course, including music, songs, excellent cuisine and magic shows will animate the next December 28: the long “run” to December 31 in the municipality of Forio will begin, thanks to the events, tasty and details, foreseen by the calendar “Christmas Notes under the Tree 2018 2019” realized with the artistic direction of Gaetano Maschio.
“The next December 28 will be a day dedicated to the excellent traditional food and art – says Gaetano Maschio – from 19.00 the course F. Regine di Forio will become a long journey where you can stop and enjoy, for free, many goodies prepared with care and dedication from the Monterone Folklore Association, the Arts and Crafts Committee, Confcommercio Isola d ‘Ischia, La Magnosa association and the Setta de Zufuniè. All beautiful local realities that will make the event unique. ”
With many stations arranged along the entire course of Forio, in fact, the tastings will be varied and unique, all strictly linked to the tradition of our popular cuisine and more.
“Among the food stalls will not miss some surprises to be tasted – continues Male – as well as on the street … to brighten up the present there will be incursions in music of the Mabò Band, nice musicians who, between a melody and a joke will involve the participants in sketch in music and, with their particular hats, they will be noticed along the entire center of Forio. But it does not end here as they say: at the Palanoel there will be the particular magic show of Davide Nicolosi, in art Skizzo. The young magician will entertain young and old with a show of comedy and magic not to be missed. ”
Everyone in Forio, therefore, for an unforgettable and special evening, an evening that starts the long weekend that precedes the New Year and that will accompany us in closing this year.
SANTA CLAIM MEETS CHILDREN
Not to forget, then, the events dedicated to children waiting for Christmas. On Saturday 22nd December, in fact, there will be the first appointment with Santa Claus who will meet the children for the classic collection of the letters in Piazza San Gaetano from 11.00.
Also in Piazza San Gaetano there will be a concert by @ -solmaman- # for Christmas. Voices: Mariangela Passante, Max Cimmino; Tenor Sax: Antonio Ederoclite; Trumpet and Arrangements: Francesco Patalano Sol.
In the afternoon, many events dedicated to children with, at 16.00, the treasure hunt for children between Corso F. Regine and Palanoel
The evening will end with the TeatroNoel, with the theatrical polyphonic reading: “The story of Love and Psyche of Apuleius” project conceived, produced and presented by Domenico D’Agostino
